Distinguished Guest: James Gomez
Dr. James Gomez is the Regional Director of Asia Centre – a civil society research institute in Special Consultative Status with the UN ECOSOC. A highly experienced human rights advocate, Dr. Gomez has worked over 25 years for international NGOs, intergovernmental organisations, public and private universities, research institutes and think-tanks. At Asia Centre, he leads a range of projects related to democracy and elections, internet freedoms, and freedom of religion and belief in Southeat Asia.
