The screening will be followed by a 30-minutes conversation (in Burmese) with Kyaw Kyaw, the film’s protagonist and lead vocalist of the best-known punk band Rebel Riot.

As the Covid-19 lockdown in Myanmar hit hard poorer segments of Myanmar public, Kyaw Thu Win and his fellow punk musicians from the old capital city of Yangon, have been traversing the country, distributing food packages among the badly hit neighbourhood.

Perhaps equally important, Kyaw Kyaw and his fellow activists are promoting the message of universal loving kindness or metta using their artistic talents, particularly among the younger generation Burmese.
